Wards who want to work as Government engineers in the Tamil Nadu Government Department must apply for the below-given Engineering posts, along with the Prescribed Eligibility Criteria.
TNPSC Engineering Service Selection Process
Age Limit:Â Aspirants who are applying for the TNPSC Age Limit is Compulsory. The Age Limit for Different posts for Different Categories is given below.

Note:Â Â Aspirants who are not belonging to SCA s STs MBCs/DCs and BCMs who are put in 05 years of Service, in Central or State Government are not Eligible though they are having Age Eligibility criteria.

Note:Â The Qualification Prescribed for theses are Candidates who have completed SSC, Intermediate, UG, can apply for the TNPSC Engineering services.
Candidates having a pass in section A and B OF Institution Examination under Civil Engineering applying for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) PWD, may be required to produce the evidence, for having undergone Practical Training in Surveying for a period not less than one Year in PWD as an overseer or Junior Engineering to Produce the Evidence for having Upper subordinate or LCE Diploma of the College of the Engineering Guide or LCE Diploma awarded by the state Board of Technical Education and Training Chennai, when called TNPSC.
Knowledge of Tamil: Contenders should have Compulsory Knowledge of Tamil.
Should have other Qualifications prescribed by the TNPSC Official Notification.
